I shape outdoor spaces that are beautiful, functional, and in tune with the natural surroundings.

Hello, I’m Milly, a garden designer in Suffolk, creating thoughtful, timeless gardens across the Suffolk countryside and beyond. I specialise in bespoke garden design for both contemporary and traditional spaces, from wildflower meadows to modern courtyard gardens.

With a background in horticulture and over a decade of hands-on design experience, my work focuses on plant-led, sustainable garden design that connects people with nature. I create spaces that not only look beautiful, but feel good to live in - gardens that thrive through the seasons and support wildlife.

Based in the heart of Suffolk, I work with clients in places such as Southwold, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge, and Framlingham, offering everything from full garden redesigns to planting plans, consultations, and planting schemes.

Whether you’re dreaming of a soft and romantic cottage garden or a clean, modern outdoor space, I’ll work closely with you to create a garden that reflects your style and enhances your home.

When I’m not designing gardens, you’ll usually find me in wellies tending to my own garden, with my cat Mimi in tow.

my process

Each project undergoes the same process to ensure the highest quality results. I do this to make sure your brief is delivered in the most exacting way and that all considerations have been made to create the best space for your needs.

1. Initial Consultation

I’ll visit your garden to chat through your ideas, understand how you’d like to use the space, and get a feel for what’s already there. It’s a relaxed and collaborative first step.

2. Site Survey

Once we have agreed to move forward, we will commission a topographical survey or carry out a detailed survey and analysis of the garden to establish a good understanding of the nature and conditions of your garden.

3. Design Drawings

With the information from the consultation and survey, I’ll create a concept drawing to bring your ideas to life. I’ll also share a moodboard to help you visualise the style, materials and overall feel of your future garden. The design will then be finalised and a masterplan is created, along with technical drawings and a scope of works so contractors are able to bring the vision to life.

4. Planting Plan

When you're happy with the final design, I’ll produce a planting plan with a planting mood board to help bring the plan to life. I will provide a full planting list and liaise with nurseries to order the plants for you. The planting will enhance the style of your garden, suit the local soil and conditions and your maintenance abilities.

5. Landscape & Build Support

You're free to appoint a contractor of your choice, we're happy to recommend trusted professionals. We can also provide design supervision during the build to help ensure the final result stays true to the vision. After the hard landscaping is completed, the planting phase begins.

Sonia, Aldeburgh, Suffolk

We engaged Camilla, who came highly recommended, to design our quite large front garden for our home in Suffolk. Her design on a country coastal theme was wonderful and we are very happy indeed. She not only has a great skill for imagining the finished product but she also has a great eye for the detail. We found her attention and service to be impeccable and we would not hesitate to engage her again.
